What does “on-site” work mean for us?
In a domiciliary care setting, “on-site” means working in people’s homes – offering one-to-one support with compassion, professionalism, and respect for individual routines. This is a personal and trusted space, and our team members are trained to uphold the highest standards of care and confidentiality while working independently. To support this, we provide:
Comprehensive onboarding and shadowing
Ongoing training and specialist skills development
Electronic access to care plans and real-time updates
Clear lone working policies and regular check-ins
Team Support & Supervision
Kumra Care is led by an experienced Registered Manager and senior staff who actively oversee care quality, conduct routine spot checks, and ensure staff have the right support structures in place. Our team culture is built on open communication and trust. Every member of staff receives:
Regular supervision and one-to-one reviews
Opportunities for feedback, both direct and anonymous
Access to wellbeing support when needed
A clear route for progression and professional growth

Compliance, Safeguarding & Data Protection
We are committed to delivering care that is not only compassionate but also safe, legal and professionally governed. All our care workers are:
Recruited through safer recruitment practices
Trained in safeguarding adults and children, Health & Safety, and GDPR
Monitored through audit systems to ensure care delivery aligns with CIW and local authority expectations
Regularly updated on changes in legislation and policy
Local Presence, Regional Insight
We currently operate across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, working closely with regional health and social care teams. We have strong understanding of the area’s workforce needs and local authority frameworks. Our recent expansion into Powys has been shaped by the same person-centred, compliant foundation — with team members who know the local systems, geography and expectations inside out.

Kumra Care is more than a workplace— it’s a shared purpose.
Everyone’s Voice Matters
We believe in co-production — not just in care, but within our organisation. We actively listen to staff ideas, concerns, and suggestions. Staff forums, check-ins, and surveys inform how we train, supervise and improve.
We also take complaints and concerns seriously — without fear or blame — and always act on them in line with our Duty of Candour policy and RISCA guidelines.
A Place to Belong and Make a Difference
We want every team member to feel that Kumra Care is not just a job — but a place where they’re making a real difference in people’s lives, while being supported and valued themselves.
